REST WELL - Yoga Nidra Gatherings

A monthly gathering designed to guide you toward conscious rest and inner exploration.

As a chronically under-slept society, it's more important than ever that we take the time to slow down and rest well. In this monthly class we will explore the practice of Yoga Nidra (yogic sleep) as a way to nourish ourselves - body, mind, and soul. We will begin each evening with guided breathwork and/or mindful movement, followed by a 30-40 minute Yoga Nidra session. No prior meditation experience is required. Please arrive about 10 minutes early to get settled. The door will be locked promptly at the start of class.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra is the art and science of deep, conscious relaxation. As you rest in a comfortable supported posture, you will be guided through a specific, multi-layered meditation that allows your body and thinking-mind to arrive in a place of deep relaxation. This practice invites you to journey toward your subconscious mind in a safe and supportive environment, while simultaneously replenishing your body through the natural healing processes that occur during sleep. So whether you're seeking a deeper meditative experience or are interested in getting a bit more rest in your life, yoga nidra always has something beautiful to offer.
