Intentional Rest

7pm Vancouver time on Zoom (time zone converter)

Winter Solstice, the longest night of the year, is a time to slow down and rest deeply. Symbolically, we immerse ourselves in the stillness and dark to prepare for the slow re-emergence of the light of Spring. It’s a time to listen to the wisdom that darkness has to offer and create hopeful intentions for the seasons ahead.

Join me for an enriching yoga practice in honour of the season. Together we will move gently, rest tenderly, and take time to embrace what needs tending-to within. This will be an accessible practice where you are welcome to join from your yoga mat or bed. Everything is optional and this workshop will be suitable for folks with illness/disability. Captions will be enabled on Zoom.

You’re invited to explore some optional pranayama, gentle movement and stretching, longer held restorative postures (5-8 minutes in supported positions), and a guided yoga nidra meditation. No experience necessary.  Please have your yoga props or several pillows/blankets on hand.

Free / pay-what-you-can.

This class will be recorded and sent to everyone who is signed up. You’ll have access to the recording for 30 days.
